Individual therapy
An hour that is only yours
For adults who want a steady hour of their own, in English, in Spanish or in both.
You and your clinician talk, at your pace, about whatever is on your mind. Many people who see us carry two languages and two sets of expectations; you can use the words that fit each part of what you say. Sessions are 50 minutes, in person in Seguin or by video.

What to expect
What it is like, and what it is not
The method
Your clinician uses person-centered talk therapy, and may draw on narrative and family-systems ideas. They explain the approach in your first session, and why they suggest it.
What this is not
Individual therapy here is not crisis care, a medication visit, or an evaluation for court or school. If you need one of those, we will help you find someone.
How long, and how often
Fifty minutes. Your clinician sets the pace with you, often weekly at first. We do not promise a number of sessions.
Lucila Cavazos and Gerardo Longoria see adults in Spanish and in English. Estefania Barragan sees adults in English.
Insurance, paying yourself and a written estimate in advance are explained on one page.
Questions
Three questions about this service
Can I switch between Spanish and English?
Yes, as often as you like, even in the middle of a sentence. If your clinician sees people in only one of the two, we tell you before you book.
Can I try one session before I decide?
Yes. The first session is a chance to see whether we fit, and you can stop at any time. You pay for the sessions you attend.
Do I need to come in person?
No. Sessions can be in person in Seguin or by video, as long as you are in Texas during the session.
